The digital safety and privacy units are the most immediately useful on the whole site. Understanding passwords, phishing and what services actually do with data changes behaviour in a way that few other topics do.
Almost everything now runs on systems most people treat as magic, and that gap is exploited routinely - by scams, by interface design, and by companies whose interests are not yours. This track closes some of it.

The thing people get wrong
That being good with technology means knowing where the buttons are. The useful knowledge is structural - what a network is, what a file is, what a program does - and it survives every interface redesign.

Where these questions come from. Each unit starts as a plan of the concepts it should cover and the difficulty it should span.
