Every subject below is a full learning track, broken into units and then into small steps you can finish in a few minutes. Each unit page shows what it covers, the path through it, and real example questions with explanations, so you can see exactly what you would be practising before you start.

Tracks start at primary school level and build towards secondary and, in several subjects, introductory university material. You can begin anywhere.

How the library is organised

Four words do all the work in this section, and they mean specific things.

A subject
is a whole track - Biology, Music, Law and Citizenship. Each one runs from primary level to somewhere between secondary and early undergraduate, and its page explains who it suits and which units to do if you will not do all of them.
A unit
is a topic inside a subject - The Cell, Ancient Rome, Scales and Keys. Its page says what it covers, where it sits relative to the other units, what people usually get wrong in it, and shows real questions with their explanations.
A step
is one short round inside a unit, a few minutes long. Steps unlock in order and get harder as you go, and the last few in a unit pull together everything before them.
A question
is what you actually answer. Every one carries a written explanation, shown whether you got it right or not, because getting something right for the wrong reason is easy.

A step is not a fixed test. It is a blueprint that draws a fresh set of questions from its unit every time you start it, so replaying one is a genuinely different round rather than a memory test of the order the answers came in.

Where to start

Anywhere. There is no required order between subjects and nothing is locked. If you want a recommendation rather than a free choice: pick the subject you are already studying or already curious about, open its page, and use the short path it suggests instead of starting at unit one. Three well-chosen units teach more than eighteen half-finished ones.

Every subject also has a study guide - a longer piece on how that subject is actually built, the order that works, and where people reliably get stuck in it. Those are the best thing to read before starting a track you have not studied before.

If you would rather read than answer questions, the blog covers single topics as explainers, and most articles end with real questions from the unit that teaches them. If you would rather just play, the game needs no account and starts immediately.
