Moons, asteroids, comets, meteors and the outer belts
The small bodies are the leftovers of formation, and because they were never large enough to melt and reorganise, they preserve the composition of the early Solar System.
The unit covers moons and their variety, the asteroid belt, comets and where they come from, meteors and meteorites, and the Kuiper Belt and Oort Cloud at the outer edge.

Where people slip
Meteoroid, meteor and meteorite are three stages of one object: in space, burning through the atmosphere, and found on the ground. The words are not interchangeable.
How the unit is structured
