The coast is the most rapidly changing landscape most people ever see, and the one where the argument between natural processes and human intention is sharpest.
The unit covers wave erosion and the landforms it cuts, deposition and the landforms it builds, ocean currents and their effect on climate, and coastal management - largely the question of whether to fight the sea, move out of its way, or pay for one somewhere and the other elsewhere.

How the unit is structured
Coasts and Oceans runs as 20 short steps that unlock in order. 15 are practice rounds and 5 are challenge rounds that pull together everything before them. Questions start at difficulty 1 and climb to 3 as you progress.
